About Us
North Florida Medical OCM's parent company is a 2nd generation family-owned business employing quality residents of our community. Established in Lake City, Florida in 1982 North Florida Medical has been serving North Central Florida for over 25 years with locations in Lake City, Gainesville, and Ocala.
North Florida Medical / OCM is uniquely able to provide true one stop shopping for all medical needs at home, from nebulizers and their medications, to diabetic test strips, oxygen concentrators as well as portable liquid systems, CPAP units, all traditional home medical equipment needs, as well as the ability to special order anything you need to ensure a comfortable recovery at home.
In addition to traditional home medical equipment, North Florida Medical also offers a full line of seating and mobility products. From a basic entry level scooter to get around the neighborhood, to a comprehensive tilt/recline digital interface power wheelchair as well as transport lifts for your vehicle. North Florida Medical specializes in line of Clinical Respiratory Services such as; Pulse Oximetry, Oxygen Therapy, Sleep Therapy (CPAP/BIPAP), Nebulizers, and assists patients and physicians with fulfilling a treatment plan.
Our Qualified Staff
We have a qualified staff of 34 with an average of 15 years of experience in healthcare, care giving and meeting the needs of those who need home medical equipment and services. Our staff includes those with many important professional designations, including RNs, LPNs, and Respiratory therapists. Our newest addition is Cory Luckner, our portable oxygen concentrator specialist. Cory has been working with patients for quite some time assisting patients with the new rules and regulations of traveling with portable oxygen.
